My first time vending at Remainder's Creative Reuse Maker's Market. Here are some pictures of my table. I met some new friends and sold the last of my ceramic vases. My snake themed artworks were a big hit! Debuting my Cookie Monster sticker... which I sold none. Lol.

Original drawings in my sketch book turned into marketing flyers!!!! Here is the before and the after of my doodling design. And then the end result with layers of digital design...
The fun came from composing and free-styling a wide variety of scrap yarn in all different colors and textures. Crocheting whatever I wanted together, adding new color whenever I felt like it... The project started because I knew I wanted to try to make the giant scrunchies that are all over my inspiration boards worn by the European fashionistas who aren't afraid of being overly playful with their outfits.
I looked up some tutorials on YouTube. There are a few different ways of making a crochet scrunchie. I essentially crocheted a five inch thick rectangle that was 25 inches long. A hotdog style fiber shape. Folded it in half and crocheted along the edge. Pushed a long piece of elastic through the center, pulled, and then closed it off. I had purchased this child's toy which happens to be a mini camera from amazon for fun three years ago. The purpose was to play around with image investigations but also have a new approach towards quickly documenting moments of my life besides the iPhone. I forgot about it in my stash of cameras and wanted to see what I had stored in the memory card. Enjoy my favorites. Upon moving to California in 2022 and starting to work in the contemporary art world of Los Angeles, I have made it my mission to visit the galleries and museums that exist within the city walls. One of my first planned gallery hopping adventures took place on a Saturday. I had four on my list. One of them being Hannah Hoffman Gallery. At the time, a show by Sarah Pucci and Dorothy Iannone was on view. Enjoy these photos of the work I took with my mini pink digital camera <3
